About us
The Robotics Perception (ROP) Group belongs to the Robotics Machine Perception (RMP) Department, one of the six departments, of the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics, and Cybernetics (CIIRC) at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
ROP Group deals with machine perception, namely computer vision, tactile perception for robotic manipulation, perception from other sensory modalities, and cognitive approach to human-robot interaction.

Wed Sep 19, 2025 (13:00 JP:B-633) Janez Perš: Multimodal Perception for Water, Factory, and Sound: Fast Prototyping to Practical Impact. I will present our work and ideas in multimodal sensing, computer vision, and machine hearing, with emphasis on fast prototyping that leads to practical pilots. I will be in Prague for the next three months and welcome discussion and collaboration.
